Audio Project’s
Podcast Project:
This was my first project with working with audio. The most difficult part was finding a person to the do it with but had a friend in musical theater. Learned from my initial mistakes with this project. Most about which tracks to keep and how to balance their audios. As well as the position of the microphone and how to work with mic gain.
PSA project:
This one was more about finding the right time for script and making sure the audio around the voice fit. Mostly trying to tell a story in as little time as possible while making it impactful. Most of the difficulty came from editing and volume pick. More of a issue with voice and short cuts.
Audio Documentary:
This was the second to last of the Project’s I had recently done. A documentary focused on Disney and its impact on copyright. It was hard finding quest speakers but we managed to make it work with some tooling with ZOOM. Taking the audio and cleaning it up did take a good amount of time. Cleaning the static and unnecessary tangents. I could of used music but hindsight is twenty-twenty.
Foley Project
This project provided its own set of problems and challenges. Over 60% of the sounds in this project were created by hand or props. With only a few provided by Pixabay.com. Arranged in the best way to mimic and play with the footage. I went with the horror direction for the ease of story telling, it was easier to make a scary story with scared faces then a comedy.
